Hindi Diwas Celebration
Today’s assembly was conducted on the occasion of Hindi Diwas.
🎵 The celebration began with a melodious Hindi song, followed by a meaningful skit highlighting the importance of Hindi in our daily lives and its role in preserving our culture and identity.
🎤 Rekha Ma’am highlighted that Hindi Diwas is observed on 14th September as Hindi was adopted as the Official Language of India in 1949. She spoke about the importance of Hindi in connecting people, preserving culture, and strengthening national unity. She also highlighted the valuable contribution of Hindi writers and poets to Indian literature.
🗣️ Ritu Ma’am shared that Hindi is continuously evolving, with new words being added every year. She spoke about the growing recognition of Hindi across the world and highlighted a recent example of national pride, mentioning that during the G20 Summit, official invitations used the title “President of Bharat”, reflecting pride in the nation’s identity and cultural heritage.
🎤 Akshita Yadav of Grade 8 Satellite also shared her thoughts on the importance of Hindi and encouraged everyone to respect and promote the language.
✨ The assembly inspired students to take pride in Hindi and appreciate its role in preserving India’s rich cultural heritage.
