An informative Fire and Earthquake Safety Awareness Programme was conducted this afternoon at Zeal International School to prepare students for emergency situations.

Students calmly responded to the emergency alarm and followed proper evacuation procedures. Live demonstrations were conducted, and students actively participated by performing the demonstrations, making the session practical and engaging.
The programme included demonstrations on: • Using a blanket to carry an injured person

* Proper handling of a stretcher
* Managing an LPG gas fire by safely covering the gas source with a wet cloth
* Understanding and using liquid and powder fire extinguishers, with a live demo of the powder fire extinguisher
* Earthquake safety measures, including taking cover under benches at school and following safety steps at home when the alarm becomes active

The session helped students understand the importance of staying calm, alert, and following safety rules during emergencies.
